the antitype of the end of the world."

A lack of revelation knowledge is the greatest cause of faith failures.

Revelation knowledge is the only way to win the battle for truth. Satan is ever-present, spewing lies day and night in hopes that someone will latch onto them and give him total access to their lives.

Jesus said he is a liar and the father of it. That’s why we need revelation knowledge, which is revealed truth. Most Christians believe the Word of God with their minds, but they haven’t meditated on it enough for it to “light up” in their hearts. If they had, that Word would absolutely revolutionize their lives. Nothing would be able to shake them loose from it.

It is an understanding of what Jesus spoke about when he told us what to look for as a sign of the end. Jesus predicted the end of the world in the following passages of the Bible: Matthew 24; Mark 13 and Luke 21. Christians all over the world are very familiar with the predictions of Jesus in these passages BUT the most astonishing thing that was missed for centuries is the ONE (1) SIGN that Jesus gave as THE marker to know we’re in the end.

In these passages Jesus was asked by his disciples to reveal the “ONE (1) SIGN” that would tell when certain things were about to happen. And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?

(Matt 24:3)Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign when all these things shall be fulfilled? (Mk 13:4)And they asked him, saying, Master, but when shall these things be? and what sign will there be when these things shall come to pass? (Luke 21:7)“Tell us when shall these things be?”

What things? Jesus just spoke about the temple and he said, “…not one stone would be left upon another that shall not be thrown down.” (Matt 24:2) so these things refers to the destruction of Jerusalem. Then the other part of the question was the sign of the end of the world. Jesus proceeded to answer this question and he gave them what they asked for.

What was THE sign? It is very clear from the passages that it was – “The Abomination of Desolation.” v.15 (KJV)When examined in other translations that same “Abomination of Desolation” was referred to as – THE UNCLEAN THING; THAT HORRIBLE THING; THAT AWFUL HORROW and many others. From that background we’ve coined the term – “THAT AWFUL THING” in reference to this Abomination of Desolation.

What is that Awful thing?

When dealing with the word of God, all that is necessary is a desire to understand what it written and most importantly is to ask for the guidance of the Spirit to guide us into all truth.

Be inquisitive and explorative in the word of God but above all be prayerful and submissive to the leading of the Spirit.
